This week’s announcements are being published earlier than normal to accommodate weekend schedules.
PROCARE APP CHALLENGES CONTINUE
I continue to hear of issues regarding the Procare app. Unfortunately, there isn’t a test phase I can employ since I don’t manage the app, we had to do a live launch. Some parents have mentioned their Procare balance within the app reflects $0.00, although a balance is due. If you notice discrepancies between the app and the weekly statements I send or the myProcare.com portal, please trust the statement/myProcare.com sources over the app.
I don’t want to shut down the app since several parents have been using it to message with us and it does have some usefulness. I’ll continue working with Procare to resolve the issues we experience before making such a decision. Please continue to share your observations with me as we sort this out.
SEPTEMBER SCHEDULE AWARENESS
Kids in Christ will be closed Monday, September 5 in observance of Labor Day.
Kids in Christ will close at 4PM on Wednesday, Sept 21 due to the Homecoming Parade and restricted access to the parking lot.
Friday, September 23, is a half-day dismissal and KiC will provide additional care for those requiring it. A Google Form is accessible from our website to sign-up for this date. Staff will be providing reminders as we approach the date. The form will allow you to select the type of pizza your student prefers or indicate if they will bring their own lunch. An extra fee will be applied to your Procare account once attendance has been taken.
