The mission of Kids in Christ is to provide local families of school aged children with a Christian based child care program in a safe, well supervised, and loving environment by encouraging them through biblical stories, scripture, and prayer.

This is our week of summer camp :( Monday - pajama day Tuesday - game day (board games, nerf wars, Wii, Switch) Wednesday - "Celebrate America Day" - LUNCH is PROVIDED / Large waterslide (bring swim stuff) Thursday - Holiday Day - dress as your favorite holiday / Easter Egg hunt Friday - Movie Day - movies and popcorn

Week of July 27th

What - only 2 weeks left?!? This week we will be discussing Jesus' resurrection. On Monday, K-2 will have swim day at the outdoor pool (3-6 can go if there is room). On Wednesday, ALL students will travel to the Aqua Park (pack suncreen, towel, swimsuits, and a disposable lunch). The church campus will be closed from 9:00-3:30 on Wednesday while students and staff have a splashin' good time.

Week of July 20th

We are getting down to the last few weeks of summer camp. We are not ready for it to end :(. This week we will be talking about Jesus forgiving Peter during our devotion time. On Monday, 3-6 graders will travel to the outdoor pool (if there is room, we will take some K-2 students as well). On Wednesday, we will have our last water day. On Thursday, we will travel to the Lory Theater for our field trip - Just a reminder - the church campus will be closed from 9:00-2:30 on

KIDS IN CHRIST SUMMER CAMP

We are excited about our Kids in Christ summer program! Kids in Christ hosts a Christian summer camp that takes place at Highland Hope UMC. The camp operates Monday – Friday from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Summer Camp is available to children going into Kindergarten through Grade 7. Because camp spaces are limited, enrollment is by invite only due to the high demand and limited space.

Our summer calendar quickly fills up with scheduled field trips and activities. We travel to local attractions such as the Lory Theater, Poplar Junction for bowling, Edison’s, and several other fun locations. Also, we swim each week by age group at Lindendale Park, weather permitting.

Children bring sack lunches with a drink (if they want something other than water). Also, we need to know of any allergies so we can plan appropriate snacks for all.

We are looking forward to a fun filled summer of Christian blessings!
