2021-2022 School Year Begins

The new school year is off to a great start! Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we began the new school year. Your feedback regarding any schedule or billing questions has been very helpful. I hope all have been resolved, but feel free to let me know if any further adjustments are necessary. We greatly appreciate your partnership in making the check-in/check-out process run smoothly. Hopefully we have resolved the WiFi connection issues we were experiencing and can have a more consistent process for you.

As a backup plan, if we experience a complete computer or Internet outage, we will revert to pen & paper for the check-in/check-out process. Having spent 26 years in the Air Force, I know that back-up (or contingency) plans are important.

That being said, please know we are in constant discussion regarding our plans in dealing with any illness among our staff. Please be mindful that this virus continues to present challenges for nearly every organization. Should multiple illnesses occur and reduce our staff to a level that would place safe operations at risk, we will provide as much advanced notice as possible of any need to suspend operations but I encourage you to have back-up plans for a short notice scenario.

We have been actively advertising for several months in an effort to increase the size of our team. If you know of anyone interested in being part of Kids in Christ on a regular or even substitute basis, please have them visit kidsinchrist.org and click the Join Our Team link to let us know they are interested. A direct email or phone call is fine as well.

Highland Hope UMC will be celebrating Kids in Christ this Sunday (August 22) at 9:45AM. Your family is cordially invited to join us at 12846 Daiber Rd this Sunday as we show our appreciation for our Kids in Christ staff and families. We hope to see you then.
