SEE YOU AT THE POLE

No doubt you've noticed a couple of our attempts to manage our check-out processes more efficiently. One such measure was to include a note on the door asking for a text message with student name(s) if someone isn't at the pick-up door. This is mainly needed in the first 30 minutes or so after school is released. This allows Ms. Shawna the opportunity to help direct staff as they account for students, move to their appropriate locations, and setup for the day's activities. We continue to look at other options to help keep all aspects of the operations running smoothly. Hiring additional staff remains a top priority, but like many businesses, it is challenging in today's environment. LAPTOPS WANTED
Finally, we'd like to have a few laptops available for our Homework Hangout group that could be used to complete homework assignments. Most assignments are completed by logging into their school accounts. If you have an older laptop that is a bit outdated and collecting dust but works well otherwise, we'd love to have it. I can load a light Linux distribution onto the device to only run Chrome. Any donation can be recorded as a charitable donation for tax purposes. Please let us know if you have equipment to donate.
