JOIN OUR TEAM
Like any small business, the number of people we can serve - even our ability to operate at all, depends on the staff we can hire. To help answer any questions those considering joining our team might have, we will be hosting open Q&A and Interview sessions on Monday, October 3 and Wednesday, October 5 from 10AM - 2PM each day at Highland Hope UMC (12846 Daiber Rd).
If you or someone you know is interested in earning extra income while helping some great kids play, craft, and learn for a couple hours before school or after school, we’d love to talk with you. If looking for a year-round position, a salaried position to work before and after school along with Summer Camp could be available. This non-traditional schedule leaves a large section of the day available to accomplish other activities and responsibilities.

OCTOBER SCHEDULE AWARENESS
October has 4 opportunities to attend Day Camp care. This Friday, Oct 7, school is closed for a Teacher’s Institute day and Monday, Oct 10, school is closed for Columbus Day. Day Camp care will be offered for both of these dates.
Later in the month, school is closed on Thursday, Oct 27, and Friday, Oct 28, for Parent-Teacher Conferences. Again, Day Camp care will be offered for these dates as well.
Day Camp dates registration forms are available to sign-up for any/all of these dates via our website. Scroll down to the Forms section of the webpage. Information will be posted at the parent kiosk as well.

PRORATED RATES
Because your payments continue to be made consistently and largely on-time, we will be prorating tuition charges for this week and next week, only billing 4 days each week.
For the week of October 24, we will only bill for 3 days.
Additional fees will be applied for those participating in the Day Camps offered.
We are happy to be able to offer these discounts. As stated before, our official policy is to prorate tuition when the week has less than 3 school days. Additional prorating will be made on a case-by-case basis.
ONGOING ISSUES
Some issues we have been working with you on are:
Some parents/legal guardians have not been receiving weekly emails and account statements. I suspect some email clients may be seeing Procare’s new messaging service as a spam source. If you are a parent and you are receiving this message via our blog or podcast and NOT your email, please check your spam folders. You might also consider adding notifications@procaremessagingservice.com to your contacts to ensure future emails do not end up filtered by your email client.
For those using the Procare App. Unfortunately, the auto-pay option isn’t working properly for some.
If you attempt to use it, please monitor your myprocare.com portal to ensure payment is occurring. The myprocare.com portal is your view into our database. The app requires syncing and some complexities that do not seem to be reliable. The messaging function works great, but the student attendance tracking and billing functions haven't been impressive.
If you wish to signup for autopay, I recommend submitting to us the authorization form that can be found on our website, kidsinchrist.org. Scroll down to the Forms section.
