OCTOBER SCHEDULE AWARENESS
October has 4 opportunities to attend Day Camp care. Friday, Oct 7, school is closed for a Teacher’s Institute day and Monday, Oct 10, school is closed for Columbus Day. Day Camp care will be offered for both of these dates.
Later in the month, school is closed on Thursday, Oct 27, and Friday, Oct 28, for Parent-Teacher Conferences. Again, Day Camp care will be offered for these dates as well.

CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER
Each week, we send account statements via email to our KiC parents/legal guardians. Announcements and important information accompany these statements. Procare does not send these to those on your authorized pickup list. We’ve received some feedback that statements and announcements are not reaching some parents. Please check your SPAM folders if you or your significant other is not receiving these emails. You might also consider adding notifications@procaremessagingservice.com to your contacts to ensure future emails do not end up filtered by your email client.
In addition to emails, the announcements are shared on our website’s blog section, a link sent via Facebook, and now distributed as an audio podcast. We hope these channels allow us to reach everyone in our KiC family.

Are you curious about working with Kids in Christ but not sure what that entails? We will be hosting open Q&A and Interview sessions on Monday, October 3 and Wednesday, October 5 from 10AM - 2PM each day at Highland Hope UMC (12846 Daiber Rd). Bring your questions and a resume to learn more about us. We offer a unique employment opportunity for those looking to earn income that doesn’t include sitting in front of a computer or standing in front of a fryer all day. If you are interested in working a couple hours before school or after school, we’ve got you covered. For the right candidate, a salaried position to work before and after school along with Summer Camp could be available. This would leave the rest of the day available to accomplish other activities and responsibilities. Please share this opportunity with others.
